Our home is situated on the original grounds of Briardale Orchard, established in 1919 by the Heathwood family - the cleared orchard area is now known as Heathwood Park, with mass replanting of many varieties of Eucalypt and Acacias, which has re-introduced the local birdlife to the area. This is such a lovely place to wander, especially along the untouched Bungambrawatha Creek which winds its way through the park.
