We are incredibly excited to invite you to our next wine dinner on Thursday, 19 July. The winery is Domaine Epis, a boutique producer in the Macedon region of Victoria. Epis Wines are quickly becoming iconic, with hatted restaurants such as Rockpool Bar & Grill in Sydney ranging Epis Wines. We are very fortunate that the owner and viticulturist of Domaine Epis, Alec Epis, will be joining us to discuss his background and the wines. Alec is somewhat of a Melbourne legend as a result of winning two AFL Premierships with Essendon Football Club in the 1960’s, before going on to establish Domaine Epis in 1990. We believe this will be our best wine dinner as Epis Wines are simply outstanding.
We are inviting you to another one of our wonderful wine dinners with wines by Domaine Epis 19th July 6.30pm. Limited seating so please RSVP in time, menu available on request.
We’ve been working on our salad bar to provide more variety and quality. We hope our lovely guests are noticing the improvement. #briars #alwaystryingtoimprove

We can’t believe it’s come around so quickly. Yes, it’s Johnny’s last performance at Briars before he, Katie and the kids move up north. This will be a great night in the garden conservatory, so please join us. Free entry to watch this legend of the Highlands perform all our favourites! #briars #johnnyspitz #southernhighlands Johnny Spitz Katie Spitz
Lunch time 12.30 on a sunday
Undercooked steak and barely warm
Would have been better with a choice of baked or steamed veg
Not everyone likes chips and buttered green beans
And the garlic bread had a metal pan or oven taste to it
A better choice of salad would be good instead of olives, mung beans and green salad covered in parmesan cheese , cant stand restaurants asuming everyone eats that kind of food
Not overly impressed
Will not be eating there again
