Attended a wedding here. Nice cosy venue. Decent rooms and good food.

Location was great. The male toilets need a bit of touching up

Recently held an 80th Birthday celebration at the Briar's Garden Conservatory. Rhonda is an angel re organising all things important. Food was to die for and the staff were fantastic. Very professional and well worth the money. Venue itself is glorious and all guests who attended continually praised the Conservatory and breathtaking outlook.

Staff were friendly and accomadation was roomy enough and reasonably insulated from external noise. The bed was very comfortable and good pillows.
There was a very strong unpleasant smell eminating from a nearby septic which spoilt the experience. The smell would come into the room depending on the direction of the wind. When mentioned to staff it was a know issue and told it was out of their control. That maybe the case but very disappointed with the attitude and the smell that made the stay very unpleasant. Who likes paying a premium to smell sewage all night and every time you go outside.
Will never stay their again.

Rooms are well presented, comfortable and clean however there is a large water tank near rooms 25-31 which smells like sewer and can be smelt in the rooms, this is disappointing. Staff are very polite and amenities are great. We had a great meal at the bistro style restaurant, which is very popular. I would rate 5 stars if not for the over powering sewerage smell which would waft into our room.

Went for lunch Friday 28/4/17. 3 of us dining. Went to order the meals, one of which was on their specific lunch menu ($15 meals). 2 of our 3 choices were unavailable even though we were there early. It was not a public holiday or school holidays so no excuse for not having what's offered on a pretty simple menu. It was sooo lovely sitting on the terrace on a sparkling Southern Highlands Autumn day and we finished our drinks and left.

A great place for a Sunday lunch, but it can get very busy.

Went to briars for a wedding and it was gorgeous, staff are super friendly and helpful. The grounds are stunning and the rooms are lovely.

I enjoy your food regularly, thank you for the fresh seafood and salads. I am reviewing you as 1 stars not because of your food or entertainers, but because of your disability facilities, your toilets for the disabled are non existent even though we were told we would be able to use one at the Briars Country Lodge. The toilet there did not have a wide enough door for a wheel chair and no rails. Please do not mislead people on the phone, as many people with disabilities are interested in a night out or an overnight stay, and would be very upset with your current facilities
