Bridge Works is an opportunity for writers and actors to work together on a series of stage plays that will be shown to a local audience.

Are you a writer or actor looking for an outlet to showcase your talents? Bridge Works is an opportunity for writers and actors to work together on a series of stage plays that will be shown to a local audience. We will be working closely with Creative Writing and Theatre students from the University of Wollongong.

Script Parameters:
• Drama and comedy scripts of no more than 10 pages to be submitted by writers.
• Scripts must be original works; no using established characters or copyrighted material.
• Script format: size 12 font, Times New Roman, numbered pages, italicised stage directions (clear, basic and concise; NO PROSE).
• Content restrictions are: no nudity or OHS violations (no water, fire, smoking, haze, weapons and /or alcohol).
• Submit your scripts to bridge_works@outlook.com before 6pm on 22 March.

Acting Parameters:
• Actors must be 18 and over; no children allowed to participate due to mature content.
• Any health issues /injuries must be stated in your submission of interest.
• Auditions will be held 31 March to 2 April from 5pm at the Bridge Street Theatre in Coniston.
• Submit your expression of interest for auditioning to bridge_works@outlook.com before 6pm on 29 March.

When submitting your expression of interest, please add into the subject section of your email whether it is a script submission or an audition inquiry.

Successful writers and actors will be invited to an Information Night held at 5pm on 5 April at the Bridge Street Theatre in Coniston. Thank you for your interest, we can’t wait to work with you!
