Bright Acre Energy, is an Australian renewable energy company, that proposes to own 397MWp of operating and near-term operating nameplate solar generation capacity across five solar farms in Australia. By the end of 2018, Bright Acre Energy is expected to have one of the largest operational solar portfolios in the country. In addition to its geographically diversified portfolio of large-scale solar farms, the company is also pursuing other technological developments such as utility-scale battery storage. Bright Acre Energy's proposed portfolio of assets represents the start of its journey in the transition of Australia's electricity sector. The company will seek to optimise the performance of these assets, and grow its portfolio, with a well-capitalised balance sheet and a highly visible development pipeline. Bright Acre Energy's vision is to become Australia's pre-eminent solar farm owner and operator with a target of deploying 1GWp installed capacity over the medium-term.
