Brooklyn Park Poll Dorset stud is operated by Brendan Mansbridge and Lydia Herbert, and is based at Eugowra in Central West New South Wales.

Brooklyn Park Poll Dorset stud was established in 2011, and focuses on breeding Poll Dorset sheep with all of the traits demanded by the modern prime lamb industry. These include early maturity, fast growth rates, excellent muscling, moderate frame size and dense, white Downs wool, while maintaining true Poll Dorset breed type and correct conformation. Our sheep are bred with a focus on commercial prime lamb production, and the needs of the lamb industry and prime lamb producers are always at the forefront of our breeding decisions.

Brooklyn Park Poll Dorset rams are equally suited to producing early maturing sucker lambs straight off their mothers for the trade lamb market, or for producing heavyweight export lambs. The stud has been founded on genetics from Tattykeel Poll Dorsets and Gooramma Poll Dorsets, two studs that are renowned for producing sheep of the highest quality that meet the needs of the prime lamb industry. A focus on real, measurable performance in the paddock and proven bloodlines is used in our breeding program, to ensure our sheep produce what the industry demands. Brooklyn Park sheep are also shown at shows across NSW and Victoria as another way of benchmarking and promoting our genetics.
