What a cool job this has been! Project one leg! Just over 18months Joel lost his left leg in a bike accident he came and seen us and said I wanna ride again can you make it happen? (Thinking to my self this guy must be crazy!) But I said we’ll make it work...somehow.... And this is what we come up with and it works unreal! ... Everything is now controlled with your thumb First we changed everything to mid controls and fitted a electric shifter and that got the the gears side of things sorted then we needed to come up with something to replace the stand after sitting back and thinking about it I thought let’s go with a centre stand but thinking Joel can’t lift the bike how’s it going to work? AIR RIDE what the answer so we fitted up a set of Arnott’s air ride and make a electric centre stand so now all he has to do is pull up flick the switch lower the stand and lower the air ride and it will sit on that stand forever ( if only it was as easy as it sounds to make it all work together)can’t wait to see Joel out riding what a unreal feeling it is to be apart of jobs like these we have done a vrod one arm conversion before and now this to top it off getting people back on bikes is unreal Congratulations to @jmarks812013 for not giving up and getting back on!
