BubStep are creative dance, music & movement classes created to foster development in children from walkers-preschool age in long day care.

What is Bubstep?
Bubstep are creative dance & movement classes that help to foster all areas of development in children, from walkers-preschool age. We explore the basic elements of creative dance in a fun & simple way.
Anna Brown (aka Anna Banana) is the founder and teacher of Bubstep, and her aim is for children to have the opportunity to fully express themselves creatively and build their confidence.


Our classes offer an opportunity for children to experience the joy of music & movement. Circle dances, nursery rhymes, action songs, parachute games and free exploration make up this 30minute special time.


Each class is age-appropriate, with props such as ribbons, scarves, and musical instruments at the ready. Storybooks are sometimes used for the older children to spark imagination and movement. BubStep will incorporate your special diary dates into our program upon request. Christmas songs & movement, international days, or any projects the centre has running.


Music!
Children will enjoy some of the best songs from Lah Lah's Big Live Band, Teddy Rock and Play School, but are also treated to some very different music during each class. To finish off each class with a bang we have 'Musical Mash Up Time' where we play a non child based song that has been requested by one of bub's. We also have fun making music ourselves, bring your earplugs Mums!
