Reviews
Pasta was yummy! Legit place to have pasta. Servers were nice and friendly. The place was small and It was rather quiet here when i came for lunch.
Friendly service and delicious food. Share plates come combined and are well presented. A little pricey and cosy (IE tight) but get why it's a popular joint.
Amazing food. Very tight limited menu and everything on it is spectacular. The Buffalo mozzarella is creamy and magical and the signature pasta is even better than it looks in pictures.
Extremely noisy and chaotic. Food reasonable. Service hit and miss
Tl; dr: very good Italian food although slightly pricey.
Plates to share for 22$ has a very nice selection of cheese and sides, but that wouldn't be enough filling for one single person. Fried zucchini were mind blowing. Seriously.
Quality of pasta shows that they are very probably homemade. They were tasty, al dente, and definitely worth it.
What can I say other than amazing! Give me delicious wine and cheese and I'll keep coming back forever! Cosy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff (asked for a wine suggestion and loved what I got) and a great vibe. Get here early though because it fills up pretty fast. Also, can I just say that I think I had the best gnocchi in my life here.
Wow. What a joke. Horrible service. Please have the courtesy to update me on my waitlist status when it's obvious you have multiple tables available.
Also... an hour and forty-five minute wait on a Friday at 8:15 PM in Sydney? This isn't New York. And if it were, the best Italian food wouldn't come with near the wait.
Other neighbourhood joints like Black Bottle and Johnny Fishbones have better atmospheres, and the staff are much more enjoyable. Definitely prioritize places where customers are valued and they don't play a waiting game.
I don't care how good your food is...if your staff are pompous, I'd rather not give you my business.
Customer service is the most important part of any business and the lack of effort at Buffalo Dining Club doesn't go unnoticed. I won't be back and encourage anyone who values decency to avoid it as well.
Very good food and friendly helpful staff who will make recommendations. Their signature did was very impressive being brought out and mixed on a huge cheese wheel. Left very satisfied.
Simple menu done really well. Pick a cheese, pick 2 sides and you have a delicious meal. Nice, but small, selection of Italian wines. Service was excellent and very attentive. Only downside: It can be quite noisy when the place is full.
Love love love. The only place I go to get my home made Italian food fix. 10/10 for the pasta and 10/10 for the vino.
I debated between 3 & 4 stars for this. It was only ok. Been dying to try this place for ages. Food was only ok. The cheeses to start were delicious. But portions overall were small. The Parmesan pasta in the wheel special is overrated. I expected the Parmesan to melt but it was just chunks of cheese with noodles. Good atmosphere but food is only average.
Imagine 5 people being seated on a two person corner seat. Seating could have been better considered.
The cheese is the hero and the gnocchi was a second fav. The platter was simple and very lovely.
Cramped area but a lovely, tasty destination
Definitely 5 stars!
Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. Sat with us to explain the shared meals menu. We couldn't decide so asked him to surprise us... We were suitably impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

Pasta in the cheese wheel was cold and not very cheesy, the gnocchi was not pillows of goodness, instead harder pieces of potato and the aperol spritz I ordered was definitely not spritz! I found the server to be disinterested and they charged us for an $80 carafe which we did not order. After wanting to visit Buffalo for a while I was disappointed.
