Showed up here for a gig with no prior knowledge of the location, and it was nice. The service was very friendly, the food was good for a decent price, and the sound for the show was good. Parking seems to be ample out the back, if not apparent at first.
Bar service very slow whether busy or not, staff needs training to pour more than one beer at a time. Beer normally pretty good, better than pubs further north.
Old school type of hotel/pub. Don't expect much.
Definitely a local place to hangout.

Thankyou so much for a lovely afternoon, we were warmerly recieved. Tried a new beer and had a great steak.
Disorganised & under resourced.
Went to see a band- sold out show but they wouldn't let us in to the band room at the advertised time unless we'd booked a table and dinner.
Many people ordered dinner on arrival but had to eat it in the corridors as they hadn't booked a table.
Staff clearly stressed and overworked, surely a venue with an awareness of the number of tickets sold could staff accordingly.
They stopped taking food orders - which we were annoyed by but a blessing as that two groups near us didn't get meals for two hours. I pity the kitchen staff.
There was no crowd control- or any sense of planning for a large audience- especially an older crowd who like to sit!people left room and came back carrying seats and stools.
The venue would have made a fortune on bar sales and definitely have enough history in hosting bands to do better.
An adventurous night saved only by the terrific music.
Friendly service, excellent food, old Bulli atmosphere and great value for money. We enjoyed our meals and drinks on the outside balcony and then had a coffee in the café opposite the pub. Highly recommended.
Place is ok. Closes to early though
Great place to see a show in the Band Room. The rest of the pub is a little small though.
20th August. The Somedays - great band from the South Coast. Not too loud, not too hard, but I brilliant band to listen to and dance.
Highly recommended.
