Over the past two years I had several medium-sized construction jobs to do in Bungendore and, as I'm not from Bungendore, I was reliant upon Greg Simm's Bungendore Rural Services store. The counter staff and delivery drivers were genuinely friendly and helpful. Greg's knowledge of products is excellent. He always made himself available and freely gave me access to local knowledge and referals to other talented local operators. And best of all, the price was also right!

I have relied on Bungendore Rural Services to establish and maintain my rural infrastructure for more than fifteen years, and have never once been let down. They have been prompt and effective at designing, implementing and troubleshooting my horticultural property and home irrigation and water systems. This has included installing and maintaining full river-water pumping systems, bore pumping and metering, solenoid controlled reticulated drip and spray irrigation, home rainwater collection, filtering and distribution.

BRS, and particularly its owner and all-around guru, Greg Simms, has been a source of almost limitless sensible advice, for which I am rarely if ever charged, and always grateful.

Sourcing materials, supplies and equipment from BRS is prompt and professional, and warranty or post-warranty support is excellent. They have always supported the products they supply - even after warranty - and the service (typically installation and repair of water systems).

I find BRS prices to generally be competitive, and where the online prices can be lower, paying a modest premium to keep a local, highly competent and honourable supplier in business is well worth it. I've made the differential back many times just in sound suggestions and support.

BRS manages somehow to find some remarkable field-staff with a wealth of practical experience. Their in-store staff is always polite and as helpful as they can be.

In short, BRS has the integrity, responsiveness and capabilities that I keenly wish for in other small businesses. I recommend them with no reservations.
