Bunnings Kotara

Mixed service standards here, better off going to Boolaroo which is consistantly great and they don’t fob you off and waste your time. Always parking and the coffee shop is great!

The short, rounder, short haired lady at the service desk really doesn't do this already under trained shop any justice. Extremely rude and provocative. (03/12/17 mid afternoon)

Though this Bunnings is very large and carries a big range, I found it to be messy, cluttered and generally disorganised. There were pallets blocking paths in multiple locations, and display stock in inconvenient spots. I was disappointed in the garden section as there were many plants in need of TLC, plus there were large sections without plants at all. Plus a stack of dead or dying plants were blocking paths. Normally I'm a big advocate of Bunnings, but since I went out of my way to visit this store I was quite disappointed in it. Unless absolutely necessary, I won't be back to this particular store.

I found the product i was looking for but needed help there was some one within short distance who came and helped me immediately and was very welcoming

This store needs to constantly work on and improve its customer service, they could definitely learn from the Wallsend outlet which seems to go that extra mile for customers even if it wasn't necessary , kotara is a 50/50 chance that you'll locate someone that is interested or could be bothered to assist, where as Wallsend you have about a ninety percent chance of a great experience, Bunnings as a whole business are known as the biggest variety with the worst service,I believe Wallsend are trying to improve that reputation.

Best Bunnings in the Hunter region. HUGE variety of products, friendly staff, low prices & dog friendly (if he's in your trolley)! =) We are here every week!

I would rather be served by a lovely idiot than a knowledgeable woman full of hate. When you actually scrunch your face up in disgust when someone speaks to you, it just hurts people's feelings. I guarantee you I'm not the first person to have this experience with her. The young lady in paints on Friday (14/7/17) has lost you a customer.

Staff working today were extremely rude and it felt like I was a burden, the first lady I asked for assistance locating something told me an isle number without making eye contact and the second looked at me while I approached about to ask a question and got on her mobile phone and walked away!

Great selection and fairly easy to navigate lay out. Parking can be difficult at times (trailers or long vehicles are often troublesome).
Only downside is occasionally getting a staff member who points you in the wrong direction but when you get the right person they can be very helpful.

staff are knowledgeable and helpful and polite, good store layout when you find a staff member they help you with anything you need. they support charities etc. i do not have a car and all Bunnings shops are hard to access with buses and then carry products to bus stops with uneven footpaths and hills . they have good products for children to help them learn gardening and building etc. lovely cafe and kids real enjoy playground. good prices and decent quality. good store layout

I called the store from my home to answer a few questions myself and a few mates had. Jenny was fantastic and her enthusiasm was a real credit to the company. She was professional in all respects even though we were prank calling.
