My local Bunnings and my least favourite. The range is small. But here is the kicker...as at 8th December 2017 you have rearranged the store so now a 3min trip becomes 20mins because I can't find anything!!! Plus your range is now smaller. You muppets!!

The people are friendly and helpful but it is the smallest Bunnings in Australia and doesn't stock everything. It's handy and convenient, next to Maccas but other, bigger Bunnings are much better.

so far have rung 6 times and been told 5 times someone will call you back. Placed and paid for a "special order " over 6 weeks ago and 6 times I asked where it was and 5 times thay said they would get back to me....no one as yet, ill keep you posted, cause its now laughable.

Now 7 times and transfered to "special Orders" no one picked up phone (10mins)... Im loving this

Now 8 times and transfered to "special Orders" no one picked up phone (8mins)... fantastic service and they have my money!

Ill try again next week, its become a mission of mine to see if they can actually tell me where my order is and/or if someone can return my call.

So..an update. On the 9th call, I got put through to William in special orders. He listened and then went about finding what had happened to my missing parcel and why. Apparently it was put on the shelf and re-sold. Nice one.
So William re ordered and it arrived 3 days later and i collected, after 8 weeks and 8 attempts, 1 guy actually managed to do what 8 others couldn't. Congrats William, now how do we get you a promotion to store manager??

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HARDWARE STORE

Not the biggest Bunnings but Thornleigh stocks the basics a homeowner and DIY renovator could need.
I have found the staff area to be knowledgeable and helpful. Great to be able to get a decent coffee from the in-house cafe, a bonus feature.
AND they let me in with my dog on leash of course. Good for when it's too hot to leave the dog in the car.
The sloping carpark and ramp to the underground carpark is a REAL pain though with heavy trolleys.

It was a beautiful experience. Bunnings sales people are the best..friendly, helpful and attentive to the needs of their customer !

Thornleigh Bunnings is a worst! And now that Bunnings doesn't have Masters to compete against it, it is reverting to being a dirty disorganised 'shed' full of junk, along with a major of salespeople who haven't got a clue and don't care.

User

Very positive experience every time. The slide in the kids corner would make it even better!

User

Worst experience in a bunnings store ever.. except a few people most of the staff r unhelpful and untrained. One of the employees dint know what a stud finder was. One even said they dint have a certain product and we have to contact a manufacturer despite bunnings website having this product..

My local Bunnings and my least favourite. The range is small, you have to try really hard to get assistance and they have a serious issue with theft. Lots of items have missing bits or have been tampered with. If you have the time go to the Castle Hill store it is far better at everything

User

This is one of those Full Service Bunnings, and is jam packed with stuff.
If you have heavy items, the outside car park is on a slope and can be a handful to move the trolley to your car and hold it stationary whilst you move your purchases into your car.
The weekend sausage sizzle is nice.

Typical Monopoly selling cheap Chinese hardware (most of what's there) for 2-5x the original price. Cmon bunnings 1.5x is the retail standard

User

I remember when I first went here, I thought "This place is gigantic!"... I have subsequently learned that this is medium-sized for a Bunnings.

Pros:
Sells hardware
Sausage Sizzle on weekends

Cons:
Barbecue is too close to the cow manure

User

Worst bunnings I've ever been to. Small, not much selection and while staff are cheerful and helpful they are undertrained and clueless.

User

I bought a lawn mower that I lost the purchase receipt, however the store manager and the person in-charge the section very kindly spend time help me to find the receipt from the computer, I appreciated.
