We encompass the interconnecting & co-dependent nature of life. We honour the history of mother earth fascinating axis tilt that drives the reason for our seasons & seasonal produce. We celebrate fresh vegetables from our farmers & meats from our butchers to provide our community with food that nourishes.
We share all of our knowledge, relationships, food & cooking skills to offer guests a direct connection back to the source, the history of our earth, the cattle, the farm, our farmer & seasonal produce. BATF takes our guests on an educational & visual dining experience where guests visually see food cooked using natural elements of wood, coal & smoke in one restaurant.

Weekend is here! That means breakfast from 8am and our outdoor SPIT is fired up. And don't forget the weekend @tramsheds markets.
Arrived at 8.30am Sunday morning on launch weekend, with the first greeting by the manager/owner being we had come in the wrong door, and rather helping us to a table (in the half full restaurant), directing us to the other side to the hostess).
Swimming in staff, though poorly managed and coordinated, upon ordering we were told their signature Butcher's Breakfast (and highest priced item) was unavailable! Ok launch weekend, at 8.30am! Perfect, now what would I have?
Half our order arrived, and after 5 minutes were told we had the wrong order and ours would arrive in further 5 minutes.
When the entire order arrived, the sides were wrong. While the waitress apologised, we were then asked for further coffees for the second time.
Another staff member then took the unfinished plate from our son without checking - whilst asking for further coffees for the fourth time.
Overpriced sides and no gluten free options.
Not sure I'll be back...
