Horse Education and Confidence building - 11Th August 2018 Candace and her mare Dakota This is the first time Candace Has been back on her mare since Dakota had thrown Candace off which put a big dint in Candace’s confidence ! Since her being thrown , she has been handling this mare on the ground teaching her new things and working to build a strong relationship with her mare being able to move her horses feet on the ground has helped this mare quieten down and help Candac...e’s confidence around and on the mare. In this video they are working on the backing up, Dakota is learning and is nice and relaxed while Candace is riding her . We took some baby steps and were able to get what the days goal was. Very well done keep at it Candace you have done an awesome job with your mare and overcome a road block 😊

Ground Work - 11th August 2018 Candace & Dakota - Buchannan Nsw Candace has been working on the ground with this mare for a few weeks building a relationship, respect and confidence around her mare because she had been thrown off her mare a couple of times. Since doing these ground work excercises she has been moving forward and feels like she has gotten to know her mare better and is more confident as well. This is the first time Candace has tried to do this particular ki...nd of ground work excercise with Dakota and smashed it !! Yesterday a lovely educated lady down the road from my property had taught me some of the ins and outs of trimming horses hooves. It was extremely interesting to learn something new I knew limited amount about ! Taking away some information that was very interesting to me I feel better knowing what’s going on with my own horses hooves. We as horse lovers , horse people & owners or trainers should never be to humble to ask and learn new things about these animals we are so ...passionate about. The number one thing all of us should realise is that we will never stop learning and you never know who or when you can take in some new information . Take in as much information as possible , pick peoples brains , write it down and read it over .

Ella riding Ali Ella has come long way from her first coaching session with BTB and although Ali has given her lots of challenges she has improved in the way she rides and has learnt lots of new things to help her in the saddle with safety , her posture and leg aids , what to do in bad situations not just with Ali but also with any horse she mounts.... She had come to BTB from Glenworth valley with very limited education after almost years of lessons which was no fault of Ella’s.
This little girl loves her horses , loves to ride and has got guts! 🌟BTB

HORSE EDUCATION - 1St July 2018 “Rain “ Rains education has come long way although needs more to be done. She is very young as her owner has informed me she is only about 3 years of age. ... This mare can be very cheeky at times , anxious and flighty although has lots of great qualities to. She is extremely nimble on her feet and learns quickly! In this video rain and myself are working on some flat work while maintaining a steady speed and listening to the leg aids that were applied. She is unbalanced and as many of you know this comes with lots of excercises and work. Beautiful little mare and have really started to click with me over the last months and a bit.
