The Byron Bay International Film Festival (BBFF) provides attendees with the opportunity to experience a truly distinctive Australian film festival in one of Australia's most desirable locations. BBFF has grown from a small community event into Australia's largest regional film festival with a large and ever-growing global profile. This provides the Northern Rivers, one of Australia's most active film hubs, with a strong international platform which highlights filmmaking as a key creative industry in the region and NSW. Filmmaking has always sat at the cutting edge of innovation, design and exhibition. It is true collective endeavour which encapsulates a variety of team members & highlights their creative skills. Our Realities Think-tank Co_Lab_Create activates discussion, investigation, incorporation and celebration of creative technology and, in particular, the rapidly growing immersive storytelling and creative opportunities created by Virtual and Augmented Reality.
