CHILD CARE VACANCIES 2019 🔸 Kira Whiteman, Molong 🔸 Kira holds her Certificate III in Children’s Services and is currently working towards her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Kira is located in central Molong, allowing her to undertake many activities with her children in care, such as local playgroups, visits to schools and parks. Kira’s Kids is open Monday-Thursday, 7am-6pm. She has vacancies for 2019, so give our friendly staff a call on 6392 3219 to secure a spot! Kira also offers Before & After School Care. Kira was a key Educator visited during our Service’s recent Assessment and Rating. Our assessor revealed that she would send her grandchildren to Kira without any concerns!

MOLONG PLAYGROUP CHRISTMAS PARTY

During playgroup this morning, children painted poppies, staff cut them out and taped a stick to them. We then walked down to the Village Green where we placed our poppies around the memorial in the lead up to Remembrance Day on Sunday. Our beautiful poppies will stay there until Monday morning to show our respect for Australian and New Zealand soldiers, past and present. 🌹

MOLONG CHRISTMAS PLAYGROUP Save the date! We will be holding our annual Christmas Playgroup at the Molong Rec Ground on 13 December 2018. There will be plenty of fun and games and Santa might even stop by for a visit! 🎅🎄

On Friday night, staff attended the 2018 Daroo Business Awards in Eugowra. We unfortunately did not come away with a win but we are extremely proud to not only be nominated but be finalists in 3 categories including Best Business in Cabonne. SNAKE SAFETY! With the weather heating up across New South Wales, human interactions with snakes are steadily increasing each day. Here are some tips to remember if you come across a snake: - Stay calm. Chances are that by the time you have seen the snake, it has already seen you. In most cases, snakes will simply move on when left alone. - Make sure sure children and pets are kept away from the area. If you think the snake needs to be removed, contact a snake catcher. Do n...ot put yourself in danger by trying to catch it yourself. - Once you have contacted a snake catcher, keep a close eye on the snake - It is important for Australians to know the first aid procedure for a snake bite (see image). All homes and cars should have a snake bite kit.

👻Molong Halloween party🎃 Today our Educators Kira, Bianca and Grace with their children meet at Leanne’s For a Halloween party. The children enjoy a range of activities and ate some delicious treats. Some children danced to Halloween songs and had their faces painted. It was a fantastic morning filled with laughter and gave the children an opportunity to extend their friendships with the other children.

Our Santa Mailbox is officially in operation! If your children would love to write a letter to Santa, they can pop in it our mailbox and you will receive a response from Santa himself! The best bit: it’s absolutely FREE! It is one of our Service’s favourite ways to give back to the community! 🎁🎄 Please note: if your children do not attend our Service, please remember to write a return address so Santa’s reply will find you. You can find us at 103 Bank Street, next door to Cabonne Council building 🎅🏼🤶🏼

Canowindra Playgroup 17th October 2018 The children and Educators enjoy spending time in the gross motor room at St Edwards School. The children spent time developing their gross motor skill such as climbing, jumping, swinging, pushing, pulling & throwing. We also had the kitchen for pretend play, Duplo, trains and train tracks.
