Cake Man

No stars if I could. I ordered a cake for my fathers birthday from the owner and arrived to collect the cake on the big day. Zip, nada, no cake!!!! Had to go to another shop.

I love the cakes and the coffees from the cake man. I know the raspberry chocolate cake could have more raspberry flavor but it's one of the best chocolate cakes I have eaten. The staff is friendly, the coffee is good and not so expensive and you often meet the "cake man" so you can have a talk. Special is the coffee card wich is good for regular coffee enthusiasts.

Bought a Pear Almond cake for a family gathering. It was burnt on the outside and whole cake tasted burnt. Took some of it back to advise the owner. He wasn't there. Spoke to his sister. I was not after a refund or credit. I was only telling her out of courtesy. She however absolutely refused to accept that it was burnt - without even tasting it. I like supporting small businesses but not when their quality is continuously deteriorating and they refuse to accept feedback. Like I said, I was not after a refund or credit.

AMAZING PIES. You know that "pie taste" you think of when you think of an Australian meat pie? That taste which seems to have recently just.....gone from where ever you buy pies from? You keep searching for it though, go to "famous" pie shops along highways and speciality or family run bakeries which are generations old looking for that...pie taste. You know what I mean? That savoury, meaty, saucy pie taste? Well....these guys have it. They've FOUND it again. This shop is now my favourite pie shop.
