Purchasing a lens from Camera House has provided far more than predicted. In spite of my being a naive user of a camera, team member Justin has unhesitatingly presented meaningful guidance.

Staff won't price-match with popular stores from Sydney, everything is overpriced (I bought an A/V item from them that was DOUBLE the price Muso's Corner had for it- not just marked up, DOUBLE), and staff are unhelpful and unfriendly. I'm a professional videographer and I prefer to travel to Sydney to make my large purchases than go here.

I spoke to Ollie, the long haired surfer-dude who works on Fri/Sat/Sun. He was helpful and friendly. He explained he didn't know much about video camera (which is what I was looking for), he is more of a camera guy, but we worked things out together. He was very helpful about tripods and mics. He explained he's not on commission, he's there to advise me and make sure I walk out with the best purchase for me. Prices are a little more expensive than you can do online, but the value of getting some honest, unbiased advice in a non-pressured environment is worth paying for.

Great service. I went to buy binoculars and Peter was fantastic. He gave me a few options and talked me through the pros and cons of each. I was able to test the binoculars outside to get a feel for them and was happy with my purchase. Wonderful experience.

Don't ever go to this shop for passport photo. I was extremely shocked and disappointed when I saw the photos as they are too dark. They've taken another photo, the result was a tad less dark but too red. I asked for refund but they refused. They offered to take a third photo but I wouldn't waste any more of my time to wait for another one and get the same poor quality photo. So yes, 20 bucks wasted.

Has a wide variety to choose from! But in all seriousness, if you are going to buy something from camera house, buy it off their online store. When you go into the store to purchase an item that was advertised on their website as $89, it suddenly becomes $99 in store with no chance of price matching the price on their website which is "apparently the online price (no where did it stipulate on the website that the store price would differ from the online price). But heres the catch, you will eventually pay the same as the instore price when you include postage. I would still pay online as: 1. You dont waste your time or money on petrol getting there. 2. You dont have to get annoyed with the instore staff when they jack up the instore price. Atleast the website manipulates you into thinking you get a good deal!

If anyone is going to purchase any camera products, i would recommend going to teds cameras or digidirect because: 1. Digidirect has very good prices and a number of stores across the sydney region and 2. Teds cameras will match digidirect's prices.

Always have a terrible experience here. Shame it is the only local shop. Film develop prices always change and when I last got my film back all the files had to be individually unlocked and rotated because they scanned it all wrong. Got my film developed and everything is locked and unable to import into any video editing software programs. Absolute waste of money & time going here. Definitely do not recommend.

Get film developed here and I swear every single time I go in the price changes for developing and prints, developing and put onto a CD or developing and put on to your own USB. The first couple times I went I'd get my film developed and put onto a CD for $17. The last time I went it was $22 to be developed and printed, an extra $5 if I want in on a CD, and a stupid amount if I want it put on my own USB???
And the prints always come out terrible as well.
Would not reccomend.

Terrible. Rude Customer Service and Passport Photos are $5 more expensive at $25 each. Rip off!! Plus they charge you another $5 if you want an electronic copy emailed to you. Free at Australia Post.

Excellent customer service and explains the product thoroughly. I recently bought the Canon 700D and the staff at Camera House Parramatta were extremely helpful. They had everything all ready and explained how to use the camera and what specific settings. Camera house is the best place to go for cameras!

"Wonderful" experience that leaves me wondering about where customer service has gone. Just lost a sale by being condescending and rather rude(ish). Might as well buy from DJI directly - at least they are not offering to sell a display unit for the same price as a brand new unopened unit. They did offer for me to pay first and they can order one DJI Osmo Mobile in. If this was the case I might as well buy online myself (and probably get a better price).
