Candelori'S

Having had our Christmas party in 2015 I have to say things have changed and not for the better. It was always justifiable to pay city prices in Smithfield if you were eating at Candelori’s it was always a place to go if you wanted something a little special but last night we were very disappointed. Sloppy service and ok food. Menu seems to be same, sauces on sides of dishes seemed to be all the same, service was very sloppy, trying to wave down a waiter to get water, once upon a time waiters were filing up your glass without having to ask. Lots of mistakes, incorrect drinks, food we didn’t order, meals coming out at different times. Very disappointed.

Undoubtedly one of the best Italian restaurants in Sydney. Truly worth the drive. Friendly service excellent food and consistent quality in the produce make this establishment a true 5 star restaurant!

Overpriced, strange lingering pushy wait staff and well-below average food. I'm sorry but this restaurant is pretty but the food is really bad.

Great tasting food, super helpful waitstaff and a classy ambience. Top end prices but worth it if you're trying to impress. Will be back!!

Ridiculously Overpriced Food@Small Servings finishing with Pushy Service!! After advising Wait Staff that i cant eat Mussels &if it was okay to replace them with Scallops or more prawns if possible??!! Going by the look on the Wait Staff face &response that Chefs dont like to change ingredients, which is confusing considering Candalori's "happily accommodate" meal requirements!! To top my meal off, there is NO WAY ON HELL THAT THAT WAS A LOBSTER!! IT WAS "HALF" a Scampi at most!!! Also noted Wait Staff was all over the Restaurant, this is not the way to run a happy satisfied table of clients!!!! We were overall disappointed with the experience, dessert being a large part of this experience!!! We were told top notch, I eat at chef hat restaurants regularly &just plain awesome restaurants that leave your establishment for dead!! &I have never seen Bottles of wine $20 Dearer than the norm!!! The High Light of the night was the Stunning Bathroom!!! So Disappointed &embarrassed for you!!

Just got home from the best meal in a long time with service by the wait staff which was always attentive but not intrusive .Exceptional food and service , , , absolutely 5 star.

The first time I dined in at candelrois I was excited as the atmosphere seemed great! The service was good, however the food was a let down. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great. Flavours are practically bland plus extremely expensive for such small portions!! You'll still be hungry by the end of the meal. We gave it another shot on a different date but we're once again let down.

Incredible food. And I mean incredible. Authentic Italian cuisine. Every item on the menu will put your tastebuds and palate on a culinary adventure you have never experienced before. Very lovely atmosphere. I recommend the Nutella dome for dessert.

I cannot stress enough!!!!. This place is the bomb! Food is the absolute best, even 5 star restaurants in the city cannot compete. Do yourself a favour and try this very delicious restaurant in downtown Smithfield. Who would of thought!!!
