Captar Photo is a boutique photography agency. We photograph food, faces, places, spaces and of course events. Based in Sydney, Australia we have shot for many event and media agencies, large multinational telco companies as well as large franchised giants. We have a web of amazingly talented freelance photographers that we have found and along our travels and added to our band of brilliant professionals. We all have the same thing in common - our style, our integrity and our passion. We produce timeless photographs for our clients, on budget, on time, every time. We seek to understand what you want, how you want it and we deliver it. Why? Because we are passionate and love what we do. Captar Photo focuses on business photography for the small business to large conglomerates. We shoot headshots, food & drink menus, events (both large & small). Katie Barget who leads the team is a lead TEDx photographer in Sydney and finds like-minded talented souls to work for the Captar brand. You'll always be looked after.

My mission is to capture the essence, the feel and the emotion of your brand, wedding, family, restaurant or event. Delivering it back to you like a story enfolding to show details, the big picture and an effortless feel.

I work with both light controlled environments, for products and head shots, and natural light. In fact, I LOVE getting out! Using natural light and the nearby elements as a backdrop is one of my most favourite ways to shoot. Whether in nature, by the sea, with the city as a backdrop, a wooden fence, a cafe, a re-purposed piece of wood… each adds contrast, colour and texture and adds to the essence of an image.

Captar Photo was born in 2013, with Katie Barget at the helm having had a camera in her hand since she was ten years old. She works with some incredible second shooters, lucky girl she is. She used to be the Barget part of Blencke + Barget Photography.

She shoots the following; Products in both a controlled studio environment as well as an editorial /lifestyle environment, Events, Weddings, Food, Launches, Architectural Interior /Exterior, Birthdays, Head & Shoulder, Family, Portrait, Animals, Babies, Hens /Bucks - plus more.

If I am unable to help you, whether its a clash of dates or I am not in line with your budget I will do my utmost to source another photographer, who I trust and value.

I have the ease to build great rapport and I'm one blessed girl as I have many repeat clients. It's all about relationships, delivery and amazing imagery.
