Beware of incompetent receptionist gentleman who books patient's into see a GP who no longer works at the centre and makes you wait for them for upto one hour, then may be he will assigned a GP to you after hes finished his personal conversations.

Pathologist esp the main “lady” was rude & obnoxious so do yourself a favour & go to Urunga medical centre pathology as they are way more professional!!

I don't normally express or make reviews on these sort of things but I thought I need to because of my recent disappointment with this medical centre. I have been going to this centre for many many years long before my kids were born and finding the right doctor that you feel comfortable and trust with is super hard to find these days and I have my regular there that I have been seeing since and I still continue to see the same doctor whenever I need to visit centre.
On my most recent visit and perhaps I have notice aa well with the centre the service has dramatically spiralled down. Firstly a couple of times on my visit the receptionist that was there both times I visited & also spoke over the phone and that receptionist has been employed there for a long time, I find rather rude somewhat towards not only towards myself at one point but other patients that I happen to notice whilst waiting for my doctor. Also I've encounted unfortunately to deal with another random doctor in relations to a result that I needed to know about my child's x-ray had immediately direct us to ED with no referral nothing but us to go straight to ED etc. Which was a a whole visit a pointless visit that he didn't need us to go there in the first place only to say that if the doctor needed to talk him they can call him. From experiences I thought the instructions was odd & sounded a very incompetent doctor seems like wanted to just pass on a patient to another department so he doesn't have to deal with and so he can go on about his day etc. I find the services there is lacking the appointments that can booked is absolutely nonsense cause when you go to the appointment that you have made that particular time and arrived on time on numerous occasions I'm still waiting well after the actually appointment TIME that I percifically made I am waiting like I normally would without an appointment, my question is WHAT IS THE POINT! Of making this available appointment when you have to wait for a long time to be seen. Especially when I've this particular appointment deliberately on my work lunch time. Pleade can anyone answer my issue.
My confidence in Caringbah Medical Centre is fading slowly unfortunately and I'm very disappointed.

I always ask about the wait time and was advised 30 - 45 minutes. 2.5 hours later I finally saw a doctor. Lucky it wasn't for anything serious.

These people are here to help and do the best they can with what they have to work with. I always expect to wait patiently for their help, because, guess what, like you people, I also am a patient. IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD, OR DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR A PRIVATE DOCTOR, then don't complain or be ungrateful. You do not get charged for being an impatient complaining good for nothing selfish individual that leaves before you get what help you can without opening your wallet, so suck it up.

Worst medical centre. Don’t advertise that you close at 10pm when I walk in at 9pm and you tell me I can’t see a doctor. The amount of staff you do or don’t have on is not my fault, nor my problem.

Most importantly don’t be so rude to my partner when he is trying to explain why I must see a doctor tonight. The rudest receptionists exist at this place, not to mention I’ve seen a doctor there too who has refused me the medication I depend on and just generally didn’t know what they were doing.

Please, if you live around the area, go to another medical centre with decent staff and doctors who know what they’re doing! Save yourself the frustration!

This place is beyond a joke. Whenever they tell you the wait time is an hour....double it. People always arrive after you and see a doctor before you. Terrible medical practice... Dr Letton is by far the best doctor there

Long Waits but staff are good. I've been here a few times for sickness, injury and blood tests. Most times I've had to wait a bit...but its a bulk bill centre, that is to be expected. I haven't found the staff to be rude at all. Direct, or efficient on the Reception but certainly not rude. I've had variable quality Doctors, from the tired to very knowledgeable. Overall I gave it 4 stars. If you want prompt attention, make an appointment somewhere else and pay for it.

My doctor is amazing here!! But the staff at the front desk are super rude. I asked for water as I was sick and wasn't feeling well. they don't have a water station. When I asked the lady for some water, she said "we have a bathroom with a tap".... ??!!!
Then I said "can I please have a plastic cup?" and she gave me attitude! Then she dragged her feet while going to find me a cup of water. She only gave me a cup with no water. So I had to fill it up in the bathroom.. not very hygienic !
Get a water station with cups please!!

Kinda what you expect from a no appointment medical centre, phillo doctor was cool, I would hug him if it wasnt awkward

Long wait and clueless doctors, want u in and out as quickly as possible and don't actually believe when I was describing my symptoms.

The doctors are imported from countries with extremely low tolerances. Google will give you greater help.

if i could give none stars i would. The front desk ladies are never in a good mood, they dont ask how are the people. Doctors doesnt know much whatsoever, one of the doctors just gave me the blood test ive done and could even bother telling me what was the matter. i wonder why do i have to see them to get the exams ??? is theirs printer better? if i can, i would go any else where. Although the girl how too the blood test was super nice and very professional.

yes the wait can be long but the centre does bulk billing and has Radiology and Pathology on site and is open every day of the year. Good Service and helpfull reception staff. Some patients expecting too much and I have seen incidents were patients have been rude to the staff as well. I don't think all the comments are justyfied! I have received great service there and recommend the Centre!
