Carinya Station

Hi,
We are Joe Jacinda Archie, Clay and Pippa.
We live near Lightning Ridge, North Western NSW on a grazing Property called "Carinya'

Let me introduce ourselves. . .
We are Joe Jacinda Archie and Clay, we live near Lightning RIdge North Western NSW on a Grazing property called 'Carinya Station’.
Carinya is 6600 Acres, running mainly Merino and merino Cross Sheep for the purpose of Wool production and trade lamb sales.
Joe and Jacinda Purchased Carinya in January 2012,
Not long after this Jacinda Mum contacted us to ask if her cousin and wife would be able to park their van and stay a week or two and give a hand on the property. Before we knew it John and Virginia had been with us for 3 months and we had made friends for life. During this time John had made a number of comments about tapping into the grey nomad travellers market… and 5 years later here we are.
We have met so many wonderful people from all walks of life, most of whom have no idea the positive impact they have had on our lives. Particularly through the drought when a smile a beer and having dinner raised our spirits even if just for an hour or so.
Our visitors often ask us why we don’t charge. Having people here through the cooler months even if it’s just to see you is like us being on holidays every day!
