We review all comments and any content that contains offensive language, images, threats or personal attacks of any kind or promotes or endorses a product or service, will have to be removed, spam included. Bringing smiles all around with The Wiggle for Westmead! Thanks to the 6,000 guests who’ve taken part in the fundraising program onboard our Aussie ships and contributed to date. So far you have raised over $130K for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Funds donated have just purchased a new state-of-the-art ventilator for The Grace Centre for Newborn Care at the Hospital, which looks after critically ill and at-risk newborns, as well as two bedside monitors – crucial for ...the care of seriously ill babies.
Donations have also funded a new part-time dietitian to provide nutritional advice to patients and families, specifically children with respiratory conditions including cystic fibrosis.
To celebrate, Carnival Cruise Line Vice President Australia, Jennifer Vandekreeke, Carnival Spirit Captain, Vittorio Marchi, Cruise Director Eli Sharplin and Entertainment Director Erica Parsons joined Medical Director for the Grace Centre, Professor Nadia Badawi and patients Charlotte Canestro, Molly Croft, Madeline and Briella Luk and Bandaged Bear in a celebratory Wiggle . Hey there Sydney! Some of you may have been woken up by Carnival Spirit’s foghorn this morning. As you can see, conditions were more than a little foggy on the harbour.
Carnival Spirit’s use of the ‘whistle’ on arrival in Sydney this morning was in line with international maritime regulation to alert other vessels of her presence.
Even though we have technology that enables us to navigate in these conditions, it’s still mandatory for vessels to use their whistles to alert o...ther vessels on the water.
We’re sorry to have been an unofficial alarm clock for some Sydneysiders but safety always comes first!

Guess who’s back? The new and improved Carnival Spirit that’s who! She's just returned to Sydney after receiving some new upgrades and additions from her dry dock in Singapore! 🎉

While both Carnival Spirit and Carnival Legend were going through their dry dock updates, so was our newest and smallest ship. 😀🛳 #CHOOSEFUN

It was unfortunate that Carnival Cruise Line did not deal directly with our granddaughter Holly's Mum about her accident on the cruise as her being misdiagnosed by the medical staff about the fractures in her arm left Holly in a great deal of pain and it really spoiled the cruise for the whole party as she could not participate in any of the water activities and it was heart breaking to watch her disapointment and tears the dinning room staff were amazing but Rhondalynn should not have had to post on Face book to get carnival to respond I think the Carnival Cruise line were hoping that Rhondalynn would not seek compensation for the incident that happened that was caused by staff negligence . we are not a vindictive family but we will not allow large corporations to shirk their responsibilities. I have to say I have cruised with Carnival before and had amazing experiences but when things go wrong they should take responsibility and rectify the matter with out ignoring the problem.
