Cartwheels Gymnastics Description
The sport of gymnastics is a 'whole body' sport providing participants with physical challenges promoting coordination, balance, flexibility and strength. The gym environment helps develop listening and comprehension skills, concentration, cooperation, teamwork, self discipline and provides gymnasts with the opportunity to perform to audiences.
Cartwheels Gymnastics was established in 1999 and while we have competitive programs, we are primarily a recreational facility. Our aim is to enable children of all ages and abilities to enjoy gymnastics to their fullest potential.
Cartwheels Gymnastics is an affiliated member of the sports governing body (GYMNSW) and national governing body (GA). Our coaches follow the pathways of the National Coaches Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) and are required to undertake regular updating both internally and through GYMNSW. With that, all of our coaches have been actively involved in the gymnastics sport for many years, most of which have been highly successful in State, National and International competitions.
