I went to this place for the first time to get a coat dry cleaned. The lady was very rude at the counter when i was describing what i required, and that i wanted the stains at the front to be cleaned. She seemed to pay no attention to my enquiries and simply nodded and replied rudely "yeah yeah yeah i will see what I can do". Upon receiving my coat, the smell still seemed to persist in the garment and it appeared that they had done a very rough job cleaning it. My advice is save yourself the money and go to another place, this place is garbage.

It is not very often you get good service with friendly and lively personality. This husband and wife couple are delightful to do business with. I would recommend them to anyone.

The new owners are AMAZING! Honest, reliable, punctual and extremely friendly service. I took my most valuable dresses to them and they removed the most horrible stains with immaculate attention to detail. definitely worth it and will be back!

Worst dry cleaner ever! Poor service, denied responsibility for damage and claims they never had any problems with other customers before. Are you serious?! I later found out they have so many bad reviews online and also by word of mouth... Never going back again. I guess I should have done my research first.

Do not ever go to this place. Horrible service. Rude staff. I sent my coat to be cleaned, and it came back dirty. I should have read the reviews before going, sadly it was only when I had a bad experience that I came to google to post it.

If you need a reliable dry cleaner, give Carville at Carlingford Court a miss. I have used them on a number of occasions, disappointed that they promise clothing to be ready for a specific pick-up but when you go to pick up they say they need extra time. A phone call could have avoided the inconvenience of time taken to visit their business multiple times to collect the item/s. The last time I used their 'service' this delay tactic was in play - on that occasion stating they needed to re-run the process to get a better result. I trusted they knew what they were doing and left my favourite jumper in their hands - it was an expensive angora /silk jumper handmade in Bolivia, purchased from a country outlet in Victoria. I had spilled a small amount of coffee on this cream coloured item and would have had a much better result hand-sponging the mark rather than committing to Carville. I was turned away a number of times when I arrived to collect my prized jumper because they wanted ‘more time to gain a better result’. On the final occasion I attempted to retrieve my jumper the owner of the business, Rose, said she was “afraid” to show me my jumper - she eventually did: it was shrunk to a size suitable for a Barbie doll. I was devastated. Rose promised to source the maker of the jumper and said she would replace it. I did a lot of research, spoke to the original seller who no longer imported clothing from Bolivia, but I found a supplier in the USA. Rose was not interested and withdrew her offer to assist in replacing my jumper with an offer to pay me $150 – a fraction of the cost of the jumper. I eventually decided to accept the $150 given there appeared to be no alternative remedy but found Rose not true to her word, she quickly changed the offer to $50 then withdrew altogether within the same conversation. She is not a capable dry cleaner, is dishonest, demonstrating neither integrity nor commitment to quality work.
