Casa Congo

Casa Congo is a sustainability hub where local communities and international experts come together to create projects that address challenges in climate change, social inequality, and economic development. Our facilities currently comprise of a school, a bamboo workshop, a lodge and a community centre managed by 2 women cooperatives, Las Flores and Las Tejedoras. Las Flores lead our agroecology and land restoration program, whilst Las Tejedoras transform waste into stunning art installations. Through a circular model, our vision is to foster the socio-economic recovery of Nicaragua, whilst also restoring the natural environment. We promote global knowledge sharing and welcome all people from everywhere to join the Casa Congo movement and make an impact.
