First of all, this is not directed at the Sales team just the Service Centre at the back and the lack of integrity for something so small of a task (in my case, a broken clip), speaks volumes if I were to question their level of detail when it comes to any other work.

Back story: I went online to book a 60000km service with Castle Hill Toyota as I've done so for all my previous service requests in Newcastle.

With no call back or email confirmation after a week, I called to make the appointment. - no real hassle, but if you have the facility for Online bookings, what's the point if you're not using it for your target market.

Servicing: When it came to booking on top of my 60k service, I told the operator to have the back-light or globe replaced on the transmission panel as it stopped working. - no dramas as it's under warranty.

60k Service Carried out but no parts for the Light globe fix. Standard.

Plus 1 week: Brought the car in a second time. Globe replaced.

Post light Servicing plus 1 week: I started to hear and notice a small panel buzz at speed and thought maybe the TransPanel shrouding wasn't properly engaged. To my surprise, it wasn't, as it had small pieces of double sided tape holding it down as the clips were snapped clean off.

The fact that whoever worked on my car did that and didn't tell anyone and covered up their mess with double sided tape is stupid. I haven't seen double sided tape since I was in Grade school helping the teacher put posters up. (:

I don't care that the panel was broken, if someone had just told me with 'hand on heart' that this piece broke during access I wouldn't even be angry, I'd actually be happy since that's was people with integrity do. - I'd be happy to come back another day to get a new panel and to return for servicings.

Coming back to confront dishonest work with the service desk leaving me at arms distance back pedaling is no good look for anyone.

I give Castle Hill Toyota one Star. Not because I dislike the brand, but with no smiling faces and no helping attitude from customer service (a "oh, it's you.. go over there and see that guy [spoken with Catty undertones]) after the fact, is one experience enough for me to not come back.. plus I had to come in twice as they, surprise - surprise had no spare parts (for work they already know is coming)

I'm not angry, just disappointed.

Buy spare Toyota parts here. Very helpful when it comes to parts you are looking for. They go out of their way to help you out. Even suggesting if something is not worth it and recommending 3rd party options.

Bought a Toyota Corolla Hybrid car from here recently. Shane Magee and his team looked after us really well. Nice showroom with friendly staff. Coffee, tea and apples while you wait. Good solid reliable cars.

I get my cars serviced always by Castle Hill Toyota and have received excellent service and quality job done. The price charged also very reasonable.
However I have tried to book one of my cars for service last week and received very poor response. When I rang the reception could not connect my call to the service department for more than 10 minutes. She finally got my phone number and told me that somebody from service will ring me but that never happened.
I sent an on line booking request yesterday no response yet. Rang this morning at about 11 am and the same thing happened. On hold for about 12 minutes! The girl again wanted my phone number to ring me back which I refused since nobody rang me back last time. Finally I managed to get my car booked for service today but I have to now wait 10 days for that since they are fully booked.
I have never experienced this in the past with Castle Hill Toyota.

Worst customer service ever. My car has stopped working (and a part has been recalled) and all they said when i rang for help they could not care less. I understand you are busy but a little compassion and not 'nah i got told no one else is come in'
I'll try find someone to help me elsehwere.

Good place to buy or service your car. I wish they washed your vehicle with every service, though. That would have gotten them 5 stars.

Got my hybrid battery replaced few days ago. Job well done. Cruising range get back up from 762 to 1037 although I was expecting 1100+.
