The lady who owns this place is really friendly, the dogs were lovely, view was amazing but was let down by a few things which took all the positives away.
1. Cleanliness and attention to detail:
The toilets were not clean and were smelling bad upon arrival. We had to clean the kitchen and the toilet prior to using them.
The floors and windows were not clean and appears to have been like that for a while.
The verandah chairs had bird poop all over
2. Stock of soaps,shampoo, tp, kitchen perishables etc could be better.
3. We provided feeback in a positive and polite manner to Frederick and he was defensive and said he will take it up with the cleaners and added that no one else has had any problems, and apparently the cleaner must have just had a bad day. Wow.
We were about to buy wines at checkout but that response helped us decide what we wanted to do with our money especially after spending a premium for peak period.
4. The cheese platter was not worth more than 10 bucks and the chocolates on arrival are 2 x small toblerones. So if you are headed there, please dont have high expectations.
Quaint little cottage. Lovely wines & great service. Will be back to Cedar Creek on my next trip to the Hunter Valley!

Have stayed here a few times, such a nice place for a quiet get away or a group stay. They have multiple sized cottages ranging from smaller ones suited to couples or larger ones which would suit a small group or family. The owners and staff are so friendly and happy to help. There are so many cool places to see on the property and some walking tracks nearby. The cottages are on a vineyard and a trip to the cellar door is a must because the wines are amazing. They make organic wines and they are worth every dollar. I am yet to try a bad wine or one I didn't like here.
Great cabins
We went today for a wine tasting. The staff were extremely kind, patient and extremely hospitable. The premises were clean and full of lovely character. The wine is amazing!!
