Cell Bikes

Bought a Radbot rear light from Cell. Item arrived with an exploded battery, even visible through the packaging. Light completely corroded. Tried numerous times to get a replacement but was ignored each time, also received no response from multiple emails. They then had the gall to sign me up to their mailing list from my support emails. Look at all the other unhappy reviews, it's not a coincidence.

I love Cell. My 'go-to' bike store. Excellent customer service.

Do not buy anything from Cell Bikes ONLINE. After I place the order (next day delivery in Sydney) 10 days later nobody contacts me. I call them and they guarantee to get it in 3 days. After 4 days no contact with me and no goods. I cancel my order and waiting for my refund. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Do not buy anything from Cell Bikes. Once you place your order it goes into a black hole. I tried calling the number they gave me on the order confirmation and it rang out. I then tried the number on the website and it also rang out.
The information on their website about next day delivery to Sydney and shipping in 1 - 3 days in false and misleading.
Terrible customer service.
Even if the online prices look good I wouldn't risk your money with these guys.

Called on phone to check stock, told me to use the website. Walked in store spoke to the same guy. Product knowledge 0. Rude. Cell has gone down hill!

Good range of products in store. Store brand bikes are, spec for spec, way more than the equal of branded bikes at similar price points. Prices are generally good and the workshop staff are very helpful.

You can sometimes stand around feeling a little neglected upon walking in but, once engaged, floor staff are helpful and informative. Recommended.

Good price but don't expect any service from them. I purchased a bike online. Received the delivery. All good till that point. I screw was missing to fasten the handle. Emailed them numerous time no reply. Called the store but they dont want to talk cos you purchased it online. I ended up taking the bike to the local bike store.

Awful experience
I've visited the shop a few times and always get out with a terrible feeling. The staff are generally not friendly, unhelpful and just want to make a sale.
Last time came to buy a bike horn (hornit) which was on 'sale' on the website. I called to discuss the price, agreed to get it down $10, went to the shop to discover that they did not have any stock!
No apology.
Wont come back.
I actually agree with previous comment that this shop is targeting 'new' bikers who are easily tricked. Ask experienced bike riders before choosing the shop.

One of the best experiences I had in a bicycle shop for a long time. Knowledgeable and helpful Benjamin was excellent. The range of bikes is limited yet spot on, and prices can be matched to the online rates upon request. Parking right in front of the shop door. Perfect.

Had to wait 10 mins till i got attended but the man who helped me was good. I am new to the road bike environment and he helped with accessories. My only complaint is that they did not fit the bike to the rider.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!
I walked into this Cell store, with a friend who is an experienced cyclist, determined to buy a road bike awith all its accessories. The guy serving us wasn't very friendly and made us feel like he just wanted wrap up the sale and go home. He wasn't really trying to sell his product at all.
When we asked about discounts, he keep telling us that he will fix us up at the counter. However, when we came to the counter with $1470 worth of items, they only gave us a $10 discount and that was their final offer. It is very common for cycling stores to throw in extras especially if you're going to buy the bike from them.
Unlike the Cell store, both Cycle World and 99 Bikes were very friendly and offered us a generous $300 discount to the final price.
Will never be shopping at Cell again!!!
