We are so excited to announce Chase's very special news!
This gorgeous boy has waited a long time to find his perfect forever home and a few weeks ago, that perfect home came along.
His new furparents understood that Chase is a special boy who is very timid and that he would need some time to get used to them, so he could learn to love and trust them.
... Paul and Alison are two of the most caring and beautiful people who have spent the past few weeks visiting with Chase, taking him on little trips and finally the day has arrived that he can go home with them forever and always.
On behalf of everyone at CCACF, we thank you Paul and Alison for your love and patience with Chase and we know he could never have found a better home than with you.
Happy Gotcha Day big boy xx

Coco would like to have the spelling of her name amended to Koko (pretty cool huh?!) She is also super excited to announce that she not only has a new 4 legged friend, but an awesome new Mum and Dad with Huon and Peter.

Elijah is the very proud dad of two very special little heartbeats. The puppas in question are a little camera shy, but we know that their new family are going to bring them lots of love and joy

A great big happy birthday to Patch who turned 3 a couple of days ago. He had a great time at his party ... as did we! Patch would really like to be celebrating a belated birthday in his own home - could it be yours?

Too Cute :) Do you have pets who like their carrots and vegies too?

~~ Pumba Update ~~
It's only been a couple of days since we waved goodbye to Pumba - and oh what a difference we can see already. Pumba has the most amazing home and we are so thankful for all of the updates ..... We especially love this one ....
You can let everyone who misses Pumbaa know that I have created a monster.... He now lays on the couch and has decided I don't need watching while I move around the house anymore, so instead of following me he just raises his head and looks. He loves his walks and is always keen to sniff everything.

All of the dogs at the facility sure have been spoiled!
The gorgeous Taryn from Tazzie's Doggie Dinners has very generously donated a mountain load of her yummy dinners to the facility.
As you can see, Flick was very eager to start on hers!
... Head on over to their page to check out their awesome meals and even better if you are in the area, you can try your first container free and even have free delivery.
If you are outside of the area, ask Taryn about delivery costs or even picking up yourself. Taryn can be contacted on 0403 262473.

Happy Fathers Day to all the amazing dads out there for not only our human babies but our beautiful animals.
Have a great day from all of us at CCACF

Today an angel visited the facility .... and her name is Natalie.
Natalie had hoped to be able to give Flick her forever home, but unfortunately the time was not right for the furbaby she already has to gain a new sister.
This beautiful soul was so upset that she was not to be the one for Flick - that she has very generously paid Flick's adoption fee. This means that to the right home - Flick is now sponsored and will not have an adoption fee payable. Flick will also have a... free home visit with our trainer in her new home to make sure she is settling in well.
We will still need to do all of our regular adoption procedures, there will just be no payment.
We and Flick cannot thank you enough Natalie..... Let's share to help Flick get her perfect home!

We adopted Bundy (formally Gideon) about 4 weeks ago and I love him to bits, he has gotten use to the car, went for his first visit to the Dog Park last weekend and never stopped running with 5 or 6 other dogs loved it. He has visited the groomers and come home with a scarf around his neck and my Vet loves him she has a Boder Collie as well. Bundy is fitting in real well so thank you so much for all that you do in rescuing these animals. Thank you from Pam, Eric and Bundy. πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸΆπŸΆπŸΆ
