I have always been fascinated by the wonder of pregnancy and birth but it was the arrival of my son and my love of motherhood which made me follow this calling to support, inform and empower women to have the birth of their choice. In my role as a doula I would like women and their partners to have the opportunity to make informed choices which feel right and and this is where I will support you - no matter how or where you choose to birth. Identifying your hopes and fears for your birth, providing information, writing a birth plan that advocates your wishes, being by your side during the labour to 'hold your space' and helping you settle in smoothly at home with your newborn during the first few days. This is what inspires me and I look forward to sharing this journey together with you.
