SENSEational Soccer is back again for the October School holidays! A sports program designed for children with sensory processing issues, motor planning challenges and low muscle tone to equip them with the foundational skills to transition to mainstream Soccer teams. The program is run by our Senior Occupational Therapist and Josh Rose of Rose Football Academy.

St Lucy's School is raising funds for school transport for some of our little coasties who make the big trip down the freeway to Wahroonga every day to go to school. If you can lend a hand, we know some little people who would really appreciate it🙏

Fussy Feeder Groups are BACK!
Does this sound like your child... - Gagging, choking or coughing during meals? - Poor weight gain, or 'failure to thrive'?... - Eats only 'white' foods, or a range less than 20 different foods? - Have not weaned off baby food and are more than 16 months old? - Is your child crying at mealtimes? - Is your family fighting about food and feeding?

SENSEationalYoga is a group program for children with additional needs and their siblings to develop self-regulation strategies, flexibility and motor skills.

This week we were lucky enough to start the first term of our new supported playgroup, with the lovely Megan from Engaging Interactions. During the next 7 weeks, we will be learning all about how to support our childrens social and emotional development, manage sensory differences and most of all engage and have fun!

SENSEational yoga is here!
Did you know, yoga can help our kids with neuromuscular-development? It also promotes development of the vestibular system, encourages crossing the midline and motor development on both sides of the body. Not to mention developing a strong and flexible body!
We are offering YOGA this school holidays for both funded and non-funded children.
... Groups will be limited to 10 children, with the lovely Kathryn from Bear Foot Yoga, an OT and a therapy assistant.

A therapy program developed to enable children with sensory processing issues, motor planning difficulties, and low muscle tone to develop the foundational soccer skills they require to transition to mainstream teams. The program is run by an Occupational therapist, Josh Rose (head coach and former Mariners star) and therapy assistants in an environment tailored to the children's individual needs and skill level.
Th...is is an intensive program run across 5 consecutive days for one hour each day.

Thank you to everyone who came to the grand opening of our new clinic.
We all had a wonderful evening and we are so grateful we could share this with so many of our friends, families, colleagues and referrers.
A big thank you to Local Member Liesl Tesch MP for helping us cut the ribbon to the clinic and being our guest speaker on the night. Thank you for your passion and commitment to our community.

Finishing Tuesday in the clinic with not only an awesome client smashing his goals, but also with his service dog in toe to give him some deep pressure if needed, and reassurance just by being in the room ❤️🐶👌🏽
