Reviews
I arrived in Sydney very late at night due to a delayed flight and missed check in hours. I found alternative accomodation for that night, but when I went to check in the next day Central Private Hotel had given my room away without contacting me, leaving me to again find last minute accomodation, which doesn't come cheap in Sydney. And who wants to have your accomodation cancelled on you last minute while travelling?
Basic low price accommodation. Helpful staff.
A good place to sleep it off after a big day
The hotel is in an older, three storey building without an elevator. This could certainly pose a problem for customers with disabilities, but the staff member at reception was willing to help me carry my luggage up to my room.
The corridor seems a bit tired and could certainly use a refurbishment of new wall paper and carpet. The doors and trim seem to have been recently painted and the lighting is pretty standard.
I booked a double ensuite online for four nights and upon arrival found the room clean and simple with an LCD television, and a computer with Wi-Fi Internet access. It is a free offer and the connection speed was quite good. The room is very simple and standard but the mattress and pillow was very comfortable.
I was bit scared after I read a couple of reviews but no option I had no other. However, I found this an oddity of my stay and it added to the experience. I would recommend the hotel if you plan on using the room for sleeping and prepping for a big day out in Sydney. The hotel is quite close to Central Station and about a 20 minute walk into famous places in Sydney CBD.
The place is very budget oriented, everything is outdated and the beds are even on wheels. It is okay if you're just looking for a place to crash for the night but I can't imagine it being comfortable for an extended stay.
Good location near central station. Not to noisy
Good location, Wonderful management, competitive price
convenient location. good for the budget. service okay.... requested early check in; they tried their best. tried to get housekeeping do just what they promised - failed.
Ok location, eh rooms.
rude staff. just plain gross. do not recommend at all
The worst hotel in Sydney.
No air conditioning,
no sink in bathroom and no soap,
no hangers or cupboard for clothes,
Horrible sheets, pillow was gross
Floor feels dirty,
Do not stay here it is not worth it under any circumstance.
Highly not recommended. Its better to stay in park
