Hello Beauties!!!! This is MARDI !
It’s time I put a few words together and introduce myself to those of you who I have not yet met, and say ‘Thankyou’ (to all the other CHAKANA Beauties who I have already had the pleasure of meeting and treating) for being SO gorgeous and trusting, as I have been taking over from your beloved Katie these last couple of months!
So it is official - I am now the new Owner of CHAKANA!! 🤗🤗🤗 !
... Katie has literally driven off in to the sunset for her well earned new mumma freedom, and I have taken over CHAKANA and plan to move us to the next junction - which is ..... A NEW SHOP!
YES.....WE R MOVING! !!
This next few days are our last in this space as we know it. I’ll be closing the doors from the 15th October for a couple of weeks. And hope to re-open on the 1st of November in our new space at - 45a Avalon Parade. AT THE BACK OF RUST! ( yes- the beautiful store between the Commonwealth Bank and the Post Office 😊) You will be able to walk straight through Rust , through the courtyard to CHAKANAS new front door!
It’s all very exciting, and tucked away enough to be a very private and beautiful place to retreat to. We’ll have a courtyard for you to enjoy before and after your treatments. As well as some restoration yoga classes, which we will be adding to our menu. AND get ready for some Body Wraps and Aroma Bath soaking!! We’ll be adding some new body treatments to the menu too! ( more info on that to come )
But essentially Beauties, what you should know about me is that I LOVE this work. I am at your feet!! My passion in life has always been to ‘find the beauty, to feel the beauty, the be the beauty, and to share the beauty!’ So my hope is to do just that with this new stage for CHAKANA!!
Big huge kisses 😘😘 to my dear friend Natalia Torres Negreira Who poured her heart ( and AMAZING hands) into starting CHAKANA ( love you La La😘😘 !! ) And to my gorgeous Kate Bukovac 😘😘 ( who I have known for more than half my life) who has done the same. Poured her heart and every inch of her being into continuing and building this beautiful business!! You girls rock ! So here’s to 🥂 keeping CHAKANA in the family ( so to speak 😘😉) Quite the duo I have to live up to! 😬

Here she is! The gorgeous new "OWNER" to be. This is Mardi. Most of you have actually heard me piece Mardi into the Chakana story before. It's because of Mardi that I came to be Chakanas owner - you see Mardi, Natalia (the previous owner) and I all used to work together some 20 odd years ago!!! We are from the same TRIBE ❤ and yes we share the same Vibe!! And so even though my personal journey has taken a new direction, I am so so happy to be able to say we are keeping C...hakana open and in the family !!
