School holidays have started Queensland at least NSW on Friday. Busy busy busy just the way The Ridge likes it. Everyone travel safe and enjoy your holiday. 😉

Time to show off Ron's masterpiece it is truly brilliant this one is 36ft long and looks 3D to me, I love it.

Here is the programme, check it out as there will be plenty to do and don't forget the local attractions or tourist operators, explore The Chambers of the Black Hand an underground mine with over 800 carvings and paintings on the sandstone level complimentary Tea and coffee then down to an original mine worked for over 100 years last but not least the only underground Opal shop in the Ridge with a beautiful range of jewellery. Take a tour around town with Black Opal Tours or combine both to save time, see Amigo's Castle the artesian bore baths, these are things you need do or see check out Bruno's for a nice quiet relaxed meal. Lightning Ridge is never boring. and you haven't seen the Ridge unless you have seen them.

Ron has just finish a huge masterpiece I won't give it away so it will be a huge surprise I believe it is one of his best

Well it's been a busy Christmas and New Year holiday is nearly over Cody is back from the Philippines and ready to get back to work we are about a week behind him and we have enjoyed a well earned rest plus it is time to get serious once again. We are about to open a theatre in the Chambers where you will get to see some video's made in the good old days lots of fun, lots of laughs and a few lessons to be learnt. Watch this space

Loved the tour, it was really interesting and pretty mindblowing! Sadly, the necklace that my husband gifted me from the shop - not a cheap one - had the opal fall out within a matter of a few months � I never received a reply to my message, either, to see if anything could be done to rectify it. Disappointing.
