Nothing beats being a part of a dedicated and passionate group of people with a common purpose. Last weekend concluded the fourth Australian National CLF Seminar held in Nowra where Tiger Disciple Sifu Craig Davenport took us through the Seung Duen Gwan (Double short pole form) and Sup Baat Lohan, as well as intensive Sarn Da workshop with Dragon Disciple Sifu Barry William Hale. . . . A huge thank you to Sifu Craig of Shoalhaven Kung Fu academy and his wonderful family for hosting such a great event! We all trained hard, learned a lot and had an absolute blast hanging out with the amazing people from Illawarra Kung Fu Academy and Shoalhaven Kung Fu academy.

Here's a taste of the last 3 years of South Coast seminars held jointly by Illawarra Kung Fu Academy and Chan Family Choy Lee Fut Sydney (thanks Ben Haddow for the photo). Looking forward to this year's South Coast seminar starting tomorrow - this time a national seminar hosted by Shoalhaven Kung Fu academy. If you're going, get ready for some intense training with Sifu Barry and Sifu Craig!

We are very sad to announce another death in the Choy Lee Fut family today, the Bak Sing branch master Sifu Dave Lacey. Each branch of Choy Lee Fut is different but we all do our best to uphold the legacy of Chan Heung. Sifu Dave Lacey was a giant of CLF and the Chinese martial arts community is profoundly poorer without him.
