I finished my studies in CSU - Sydney Study Centre and it was the worst experience. What went so wrong?

1. Timetable uploaded on Wednesday and school was starting next Monday (So just a few days after). On Friday they changed it without sending an email or notifying us in any form.
When I talked to my course coordinator that this will affect my job, that changing timetable on Friday when school starts on Monday is not right, the answer was: none of our problems. You are an international student and you are here on a student visa, you do what was we say.

2. I'm not Asian, I came from another continent. And because of this I always been treated differently and marked differently (lower than my Indian/Pakistani friends. Most of the teachers are from these countries so...

3. I applied for a student scholarship. They gave me the option that if I get more than 80 on 3 subjects a year, I can get one subject refunded. And guess what? my highest point received were 79. Until I had to give up this scholarship.

4. Did Tutorial Assistant for one of the subject. The title was Tutorial Assistant. The payment was as General Staff (which was half what a Tutorial Assistant should have been paid).

I can go on and on but will leave it here.

Conclusion - NOT RECOMMENDED FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS.

Love my experience so far here - studying paramedicine and my lecturers and student staff are great.

Well, if you gave new subject means new burden to student at mid semester than it's not fair.

8 assessments are normal for student he or she can do in single day ? These are your words which are totally wrong because we are not here to take overload according to your fees please give service.

Studied briefly with this university's bachelor of nursing online, with advanced standing as an endorsed enrolled nurse already working in the industry. I found their program to be not at all flexible, the way it was marketed and I will explain why. Upon enrolling, it was relayed to me that there would be at least four different options for residential blocks (where students attend on campus to learn new skills). After enrolling three weeks before the subject opened, I was automatically booked into a residential block on dates I could not attend. After emailing my lecturer, she suggested that I 'make alternative arrangements' as I would not be allowed to book an alternate date. The dates had already been filled by first year students before the subject opened. I politely emailed again and was given two options: attend the block I was given or withdraw. So I withdrew, not only from that subject, but the entire program. I'm writing this review with the suggestion that students clear their entire calendar, don't expect the flexibility that was promised and be ready to get boxed into wherever they put you, whenever they do it because in all likelihood, that will be the reality. Preferences for residential blocks go to pre-existing students, which they can apparently book before the subject opens. So if you are taking an EN to RN pathway, you do not get the same opportunities. At least, this was my experience in 2019. As far as course material goes, it was acceptable. Their student support on the other hand, was appalling. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, I was greeted by a cranky old woman who barked at me, "What's your problem, Scott?" In hindsight, this was abuse. Honest truth! What about student safety? Anyway, that was my first and only call to support. Luckily, I got out before the census date, which they stalled for nearly two weeks, by the way. Everyone has to decide for themselves. Your experience might be different from mine. All I can say is, buyer beware.

I am thinking about to take the admission in this college in field of master of professional accounting . Should I take the admission.

Not good experience at CSU. Only few teachers provide quality education. I won't suggest this uni to anyone. Very high failure rate.

Worst university of Australia I never recommend anyone to take admission in csu just wasting ur money nothing else
