Has your child had the 2018 flu vaccination? We have plentiful supplies and are urging parents of children, in particular those under 5, to contact the surgery on 4942 2533 to make an appointment for a flu vaccination.

We are happy to be part of this worthy cause. Please feel free to drop donations here at the surgery. All donations will be gratefully received.

To all of our valued patients....we are aware that parking can be difficult to obtain so we have applied to Lake Mac council for short stay car parks immediately in front of the surgery. We have also requested that council make regular patrols on the street. Those people with a disability parking sticker can stay a longer time than is designated on the signs. Addressing the parking issues is a high priority and we will endeavour to keep you informed of our progress.

Free flu vaccinations are available for children between 6 months and 5 years. There is currently a shortage of some flu vaccines for this age group. We have limited stock available , so if you would like your child to have a flu shot, please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment. Ph: 4942 2533

Free seasonal influenza vaccine is funded for the following groups at higher risk of complications from influenza:
All children aged 6 months to less than 5 years of age... All individuals aged 5 years and over with medical risk conditions, Children aged 6 months to 10 years on long term aspirin therapy All people aged 65 years and over All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 15 years and over Pregnant women (influenza vaccine can be given at any stage of pregnancy) People aged 65 years and over (vaccine that is specifically designed to produce a higher immunse response is available for this group)
