Knew what car I wanted after having a look at prices was not happy kept trying to get me to sigh contract.
Was a very uncomfortable time wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I am at a loss to understand how this dealership is still in business. I Had cash, knew exactly what i wanted and was ready to buy a new car, just needed to negotiate a price. Salesman played games, wouldn't negotiate a price not even a ball park without getting a signature from me. Used delay tactics to keep us on the lot like leaving the room to "ring his manager" for a price and then upon returning still couldnt negotiate unless he spoke to his "other manager" bad mouthed other dealers describing their dishonest ploys and how they operate with "smoke and mirrors". I asked for a trade in price and was told that could be done, drove my car into the yard and when it was clear he was not getting the valuer and was playing games i left. Lucky i did as i mentioned my experience to the people i work with, one of them said that they have also gone to charlestown toyota to negotiate a price and a valuer took their car for valuation. When they wouldn't sign prior to getting a trade in price and they were sick of the games and wanted to leave the lot, thier car keys "went missing" for over an hour. I have never written a review but i really wanted people to be aware of the smoke and mirrors that this dealership operates with.

Plan to buy a car in Charlestown Toyota, and a staff called Peter who was trying to sell a car to us but didn't let us know where did the that used car come from. I almost signed the contract before we found out that it was a used car from car rental company. And doors and rear light covers were damaged and we have to pay to fixed it up. Peter was cheating and trying to hid the problem until we found out by ourselves. He got angry and so rude after that. If some one plan to get a car, please find someone else.

We thought we where getting a good deal till we discovered less than a year later that the toyota sales man sold us a car with a dodgy refurbished transmission... Went to a different dealer for a service and was told thats where all my issues are coming from and that i need to pay over $5,000 to get a toyota brand replacement... i will never recommend Charlestown Toyota.
