Cheeky Wax

I am happy with the eyebrow and upper lip waxing I get here. The owner is always very friendly and talkative, and makes me feel comfortable.

Rude service, particularly if you have used one of those groupon vouchers. The point of those is to try at a discounted price and if it's good, return and pay full price. Not treat groupon customers rudely so that they would never step foot there again!

This is the 4th time I have been back to Cheeky Wax since a change of management about 3-4years ago and I continue to be disappointed. I won't be returning any time soon. Each treatment session is interrupted by the owner needing to answer a phone or speak to a walk in customer. She is friendly enough but makes conversation pertaining to complaints or excuses as to why she is so busy. She even mentioned other salons in a negative light. I have had mediocre experiences with waxing and facials previously where the experience is uncomfortable and really not what I wanted. I'm unsure why I have returned but I always presume things will improve. Most recently I had a facial waxing treatment during which I had a bright light in my eyes for the whole treatment session. Afterwards I tried to check the result but the light was dim and I couldn't see clearly because of it. I paid and left. When I hopped in the car I found the remains of wax on my face and hairs still visible. I hope things will improve for future customers but sadly I will not be one of them.

Paid for a microdermabrasion got there and they used the machine for 5 minutes then left me in another room for 20 mins with a mask. If I wanted a mask I would've done it at home. That was not micro they didn't even use cleanser or an exfoliator.

I have been a client at Cheeky Wax for more then four years. I have used a range of their services like: waxing, threading, facials and spray tans just to name a few. I have also bought from their extensive range of beauty products. I love going to Cheeky wax and beauty! It is always a beneficial, convenient and enjoyable experience. The owner is hardworking. She is always extending the services of the salon, which i love and is dedicated to making her salon consistently better. Highly recommend for anyone that is looking for a beautician that offers so many different services. I would also ignore any negative reviews that have the intention of defaming Cheeky wax and beauty, they have always more then welcomed any criticisms however I have no doubt in my mind that any negative and harmful comments have been falsified. The reality being innocent misunderstandings with no malicious intentions from Cheeky wax. From my years of experience with Cheeky wax they are always aiming to cater to all of their clients needs :-) Don't know what i would do without it!
