Poor service by staff, limited purchase without clear policy list and display

Come on all you tightwad critics! You know why you come here: not for the plush aisles, not the warm welcomes - for the dirt cheap prices. You're kidding yourselves if you expect service and lavish accoutrements! Go to the ripoffs across the Corso where you can expect to pay heaps more for your Preparation H, dunny paper, or Fisherman's Friend!!!

They had the bandages i needed for my sprained ankle. I got some fish oil.

Rude,! Only person dispensing a prescription, 30 minutes later requested my script back, looked at me like I was a 'deer in headlights' - 5 minutes later I again requested my prescription, again, same stupid stare! All of this time being moved by a multitude of store stackers. By this stage we was ropable, and I spoke directly to the other pharmacist, and they handed me a tray! I was due at a wedding in 20 minutes and I approached the counter to find one person serving and a queue 15 long! Again moving every 10 seconds for stackers I was finally served by 'Forrest Gump'! Absolutely Disgraceful Service! I will NEVER go back!!!!

Great prices though the isles are very squishy and there's hardly enough room to swing a cat at the check out

Pretty ordinary service after being a regular customer for the last three years. Being well over charged twice is too much. Will not be back. The apology each time has been half-hearted.

A note to the other reviewers. The security is the same or worse in any other CW I have been to. If you don't like it don't go into any CW. The issue is they have long opening hours and are cheaper than most chemists. And always check your receipt. The care factor at the till is low.

can't blame the security in this shop really. Manly probably has the highest percentage of drug addicts & mentally ill compared to other suburbs.

I'm a longtime chemist warehouse fan but the treatment from staff here was nothing short of shocking.

I left a basket full of goods worth over $200 because of treatment from a particular security guard. To top this off the manager was equally as rude to me.

Luckily there's 3+ chemists of manly corso alone and many more chemist warehouses throughout sydney.

Sometimes the cost saving just isn't worth a blatant lack of customer service.

I will never return to this chemist which is a shame as I am a loyal customer to this franchise usually.

Treated the most disgusting way by security and "manager" today after mistaking a opened BATTERED box of perfume as a tester (as many people clearly used it as a tester before me and was a labelled box of tester sticks next to it) he humiliated me infront of half of Manly... Treated me like a criminal and laughed in my face and could barely string a sentence of sense together. Instead of simply saying no do not use that as a tester and REMOVE it from the shelf to save anyone else from making the same genuine mistake. He actually demanded that i purchased it this at full price! I give Jasmine a young polite cashier great credit for her kindness and understanding when I went to purchase this as she dealt with my situation in a fantastic professional manner, something this security guard should actually learn from. I see many similar complaints regarding this man and I suggest discount chemist take serious note of what kind of people they hire so poor Jasmine does not have to be embarassed by her older staff who cannot do their job right. Disgusting and I will make sure Jasmine gets full credit for doing a great job and this awful manager and security guard some lessons on manners and how to carry out their duties properly instead of making the people of Manly feel like criminals.
