Amazing dinner!! We had the five course meal with matching wines and everything was perfect.

Gorgeous building with a fantastic and unique atmosphere. Service was great, but the dishes were somewhat lacking. More attention made to appearance of the dish and having lots of elements, rather than the fundamentals like proper seasoning and balanced flavours. Very pricey (to be expected in the Hunter I suppose). Great selection of wines (also to be expected in the Hunter)

Can't recommend this place enough! The decor is very charming and cozy but the food here is what makes Circa stand out amongst all the fine dining restaurants in Hunter Valley. If you are after food that tastes as good as it looks, Circa is a must visit then.

Can't wait to go back to Circa!

Cassie, Karen, and the team are INSANELY GOOD at their jobs. They know how to make you feel unique and not just like another number. Personalised, genuine, authentic, and ultra disciplined, this team is the best in the game. The venue is next level. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. 500/10 - get there... now!

Very impressed by the friendly services and the food was just amazing. I had oyster for my entree and the tenderloin with food gras for my main. I completely forgot to drink wine while enjoy the main. We had a cheese platter as our after dinner with earl grey tea and they invited us to have it in the drawing room with a fireplace . It was quite a special experience during our stay in Hunter valley. The house is beautiful too. Would go back!

What a fantastic place for lunch or dinner to take your loved one to. Great atmosphere and the staff is very nice and helpful. There is a veggie and herb garden that the chef uses for their ingredients. Never heard of this place before until did a search for somewhere different to dine with my wife, we ordered some food from the menu but what come out to the plate was very unexpected! Beautiful looking dishes with amazing flavours starting from entree through to the mains, didn't try deserts as we were just full from all the fabulous food. There are tasting menus set by the chef also, I am posting pictures of the menu here so have a look and please try it out its worth it.

Recently attended a wedding that was held at Circa 1876. The staff were fantastic. I was performing the role of Master of Ceremonies and they were so helpful and cooperative. The food, the set up and the atmosphere was great too.

Had three course meal at Circa 1876. It went well to start off with but went down hill towards the end. I had the oysters as a starter the duck as a main and the apple pie as the dessert. The apple pie had this blue bits of foam/sauce, I thought "what in the world is this? It looks like mouthwash bubblegum!" And it sure did taste like it. Service took 2 hours overall and we didn't have wine or beers, I can't imagine how long the 5 course or 7 course taster would have taken. Waitress apologised for taking so long to deliver our dessert and discounted our meals.

Fantastic experience, the bread served were one of our favourite. Love every single dish we had, great looking house and excellent service. Thanks team for the memorable and cozy experience.

Great food, lovely service and fantastic ambience. Ordered the set menu and tried chefs recommendation. Fish, lamb and zucchini flowers were amazing. Highly recommended.
