Circular Quay is beautiful not only is it a major transit area for ferries, buses and trains, its also an amazing part of the harbour foreshaw with restaurants, shops, buskers, bars and of course the Opera House. The view from this whole area is spectacular. Each of the restaurants and cafes along the foreshore capture this view. Its such an interesting place to wander around. A visual feast.

Went to VIVID. Fantastic vibe, everyone seemed to be in happy mode.i lost my phone which had my ATM card and cash and my beautiful friend ran back to where I had left it and a wonderful man was trying to answer it and I got it all back. Thank you Sydney

Circular Quay train station has one of the best Sydney Harbour views. Worth buying a ticket just to go up on the train station platform and enjoy this fabulous view. If you get a strong kitchen smell that's from poor ventilation from the restaurants below on the station. One day someone will fix this.

Train is quick and clean. If you have a long layover at the airport, catch a quick train into Circular Quay (I think it's only like 4 stops or something). The sites and sounds around the harbor are incredible. The multicultural crowd, the opera house steps, the quick walk along the bridge - spectacular!

A very touristy spot but for a good reason. One of the world's best skylines is found right here with a spectacular view of the opera and the harbour bridge. Of course and like most ultra touristy spots, it is not where you come for a good deal for food or shopping.

Great place to meet up, buses are next to train line. Plenty of good food around the area with cafes and restaurants.

Wonderful place for a walk and hang out in Sydney. Cruise terminal, restaurants, bars, eateries, the opera house, and public and private ferry boats to places around the city. A great place for sightseeing, people watching, or just having a relaxing day. Highly recommended.

User

Central access to Harbour ferry services including to Taronga Zoo and Manly. Always busy. A few eating places and fast food nearby

User

A great train station that links you to Sydney Ferries and major Sydney landmarks: Opera House, MCA, Botanical gardens, harbour bridge. Fantastic views of the the quay as well. Check out the photo from vivid 2017 that I took from the station.
