City Medical Practice

I have been a patient of the City Medical Practice for 3.5 years . I have my annual check ups and find it convenient that there is a onsite pathology lab , whom are always professional & pleasant. I find the practice very efficient and have received accurate diagnosis for my thyroid and cholesterol issues. On both occasions the treatments I received were effective and succinct . If you looking for a direct and effective practice that gets the job done , look no further.

I've been going to City medical Practice for over 8 years. They are efficient and professional. In the main I kept going back because I always saw Dr Henry Stenning who is just brilliant and I'm now glad to have him as my personal GP.

Have been seeing Dr Stenning for a few years. He has been able to diagnose problems i have had immediately after seeing many specialists who were useless and cost me a fortune so thank you. Very accommodating.

Dr Yap was great, I had been suffering from a constant runny nose and he did a thorough q and a and narrowed it down to a acute sinus infection. I prefer to be in and out as time constraints with work are limited of course. Perfect time frame. Great service, thank you

I went in to see the doctor (older male) regarding a rib injury I had sustained at the snow. As I was telling him how it happened, he kept interrupting me to hurry along my story. When I was finished, he poked my side once and told me to get an x-ray and book a second appointment- he didn't take anytime whatsoever to examine my ribs AT ALL and didn't do anything more than jab once. I booked a second appointment for later that day, and before I even set foot into the room, he said the imaging report didn't show anything and that I was "fine". He didn't even have a look at the physical x-rays that I held. I wasn't even through the door when he said that, total face-time with him was probably 20 seconds all up.
The pain in my ribs got worse as the week went on and I got a second opinion from a different doctor who took the time to press on certain areas and listen to my breathing, as well as look at the physical scans. He concluded I had fractured my rib and cartilage inflammation.
I understand that the treatment for bruised and fractured ribs are the same, but I felt so disregarded and neglected by the first doctor from City Medical that I will NEVER go there again, and urge anyone even CONSIDERING going there to not waste their time or effort.
The doctor I saw was highly unprofessional in his manner, quite pathetic really, and his office was so messy, there was nowhere to pay down if I needed to be examined. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Doctor can not distinguish between a bug bite and a severe chronic urticaria.
We had to go to another medical center where a legitimate doctor immediately recognized the urticaria, tested it and found out it was a symtom of Hypothyroidism.

I hadn't even closed the door and sat in the seat before the doctor asked me what I was there for, and when I did say what I was there for he passed judgement on me. I was not proud of the situation I had got myself into but none the less, I didn't appreciate the look of disgust and judgement from a professional.
Then when I went back to get the results, he did the same thing. Hadn't even closed the door or sat down and he delivered me my results and that was that. As soon as I had closed the door I was walking back out and the people waiting in the waiting room just looked at me as if to think, geez that was fast.
I only went there as it is in close proximity to work and they bulk bill. The doctor I saw was an older male doctor at the clinic. I would go back there, I just would request not to see that doctor. We'll see if my experience the next time around changes with a different doctor.

Went to this place as it was close to work as opposed to my regular doctor. what a mistake
Was seen by a male doctor who refused to treat me correctly. gave me a prescription after two minutes and told me to come back in three days. My normal doctor would treat me then and there and i would be fine. Came back with the same issue not fixed from the prescription as i figured, and he did nothing but make it worse. i am now in additional pain and out of pocket for a prescription that was useless for me.
He told me to come back next week, but there is no way i will ever return. What a shocking disregard for general customer service or even care. He was only concerned with getting me in and out quickly.
His room was filled with his personal items scattered around the room which matched his unprofessional attitude.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

I was seen by an older male doctor who clearly doesn't want to be there. I went in with some scans of my ovaries as I had some cysts. He didn't even look at the scans (I had been told to get them), told me to not be so dramatic and to take pain killers. I had to go see another doctor who then treated me properly.

My partner also went to see him recently with a bad cough. He didn't ask my partner any questions, and just gave him a subscription for anti-biotics. We now need to go get him a chest X-ray as he may have pneumonia.

Not only is this place unprofessional but they are putting people's health at risk. Don't go there.
