Clarence Valley Conservatorium

Work has commenced on replacing the roof on our main building and should take around 10 days to complete. If you're visiting us in the next few days please pay extra care when moving around the building.

We're all looking forward to tomorrow when Kidzjam returns for Term 3. Come along to the Conservatorium at 8 Villiers Street in Grafton at 10:30am for the first class. Kidzjam is designed for children aged between 2 and 5 years old and led by CVCon tutor Mel Smith.

One more weekend of "Waiting for Godot" at the Pelican Playhouse and the opening weekend of "The Wedding Singer" at the Criterion Theatre. Great local shows, a few nights of must see entertainment ahead!

Entries close today for the music section of the Grafton Eisteddfod. Entry forms and schedules can be downloaded on their website, https://www.graftoneisteddfod.org.au/ Why don't you take this opportunity for performance practice, and receive feedback from an experienced adjudicator. The Eisteddfod is held here at the Conservatorium.

Our yearly AMEB exams are underway. Its a good time to plan for next years event! They are a great challange for young and old musicians.

We had a fantastic Song Writing Workshop this week, led by Mel and Luke. The participants learnt about the craft of songwriting, and then put their new knowledge into action, creating some fantastic songs that were recorded. Once they've been edited we'll upload them to our Soundcloud and share with you all.
