I've found CM to be very good having used them a couple of times. One of the things that really makes a difference is that they're prepared to put in extra effort to make things as easy as possible e.g. visiting my elderly dad at home rather than him having to visit the office. Pleasant to deal with as well.

Alex was helpful and provided me with good advice with the conveyancing for my purchase of my property. To be fair I felt he is quite knowledgable and experienced with these matters. Unfortunately for me he sure charged an arm and a leg! Initially he said I should budget around $1500 including disbursements for the conveyancing but by the end it ended up costing me over $2665! Why? Because he charges for things like writing a couple of emails to negotiate an extended settlement: $216, another additional email to the vendor's solicitor because the vendor had damaged the front fence $275. He even charged for settlement on an 'urgent basis'.

I really liked Alex (at least before I saw the invoices) and I hope in future he'll be more fair and transparent with items that to me are just part of the conveyancing process!

I had an appointment with them a month ago. Waited some time & then dealt with by someone else. Still waiting to hear from them after a month. They are obviously not interested in new business

She kept everything organised and procedurally correct and we were always well-advised and informed. Always very friendly and helpful, she was just great.
