Coastal Caravan & Rv

Dave & the guys are great to deal with. After sale service fine. Had a minor issue after handover & Dave fixed without hesitation. Taken our Van on two trips now & so far all good. I highly recommend these guys.

I bought a caravan from these people. As soon as you tow it out the gate, they don't want to know about you. The first night we used it, which was the same day we picked it up, the electrical safety switch kept tripping. I called them immediately and was told it was the element in the hot water system that I would have to replace under warranty, the caravan was an entire hour old mind you...stupidly, I said 'ok, I guess I'll have to do take care of that'. I was told it was a Dometic system and the closest Dometic agent was 2 hours from where I live. So eventually the time came for us to tow our brand new caravan 2 hours away to the agent in Young. That night in Young we got smashed by the worst hail storm I've ever experienced. It made a mess of our new van, but that's life, these things happen, except that the hot water system turned out to be a Swift system, not Dometic, and there's a Swift agent 20 minutes from where I live!!
They don't even know what components make up their product! When I asked them for some sort of compensation, since I now had a $1000 excess to pay to claim my insurance, they just ignored me completely. I even suggested if they could supply me with another spare wheel since the van has 4 wheels but only 1 spare, as a show of good faith and service, again I am being ignored.
The worst after sales service, I thought Jayco Canberra was bad but these guys are worse...
