Although most of my career has been spent on large scale works and developments, maintaining large estates, and maintaining parks and gardens, my real passion is small scale urban horticulture.
I love nothing more than seeing people excited about creating their own garden and outdoor space, and the satisfaction it brings them. Knowing that I have helped them achieve this is a feeling that is unrivalled by anything I have done in the past.
When it comes to redeveloping their garden or property, people want value for money and, unfortunately, landscaping can be expensive. The alternative is for people to attempt it themselves, often inspired by TV segments showing how you can redevelop your entire property in a 1 hour segment. This too can be very costly and, quite often, unrealistic.
This is why I created Coastal Garden Consulting.
My goal is to help people create the dream outdoor space that they have always wanted to create, but are unsure how to do it and where to start. My main focus is on plant selection, placement, garden layout and function.
