Coffs Harbour Marina

Just had a yacht come and stay and not pay. If you are the proud owner of run down, about 34 foot, mono hull called BEJA, can you please call us?? What are my chances??

Friendly Reminder - the Marina boardwalk and the Marina itself are not designated leash free areas for dogs. We all love our dogs (I have 2), but for everyone's well being, please keep them on a leash. It seems to cause great offence when asked to do so, so please can we respect each other and our dogs and do the right thing!! Park Beach is leash free and only 5 minutes walk from the Marina. Thank You

A gorgeous day at sea with Cougar Cat Fishing Charters. It was so calm and a lovely misty morning...snapper for dinner with a crisp pinot gris. Thank you to owners Gary and Marg for the invite. This great vessel is also for sale if anyone is looking for a real sea change!!

Do people honestly think that by destroying our "No Fishing" signs, we will stop committing to the Clean Marina and Fish Friendly Programme?? The Marina is private property, we choose what happens to the environment we are responsible for, and have committed to preserving. This sort of vandalism only galvanises our plans to close off the boardwalk to the public permanently. So a big thank you to those folk that are selfish enough to ruin it for everyone, and our new cameras work a treat.

A collection of rubbish from one small area of the Marina. The big tides have been flushing it out of the rock wall...thank you Phil and Di (Matira), for helping us with this..it makes our daily efforts easier and more 'fruitful'

What a fantastic idea for a childrens party!! Pacific Explorer supplies the inflatable toys and the kids have a ball...

There is a 'concerned local' that is leaving notes under my windscreen wipers (!) and anonymous messages on our answering machine. Please contact us in a way that we can respond to your questions. FYI...that wharf is leased by the Marina, we have no obligation to provide parking to the public, I can do with it as I see fit for my business and staff, of which I have 5 to accommodate - thank you for your concern.

Saw this amazing jelly fish in the Marina today. It was many layers of blues and greens, with dozens of little frilly wings moving it about. Most unusual.....

The break wall at the Marina will open on or around the 22nd December. It will remain open until Australia day. The final stages of works should be completed by March/April. Nice that our Christmas holiday visitors will have access....

Made a call last night to Coffs Harbour Police Station to report 3 blokes breaking in to B arm....4 hours later (midnight!!) received a call to say they couldn't attend!! I apologise to all my clients, calling the Police is of no use. Not only did I have a mild heart attack at the late call, but to be told they weren't going to check it out.....really!?!

We all know how great the food and atmosphere is at Latitude 30. There really is nothing like it in Coffs Harbour, and an absolute asset to the Marina Village. What a lot of people don't know is that Colleen and Marcus support many local charities and fundraising events year round. They once again supported the Cancer Council fundraiser last weekend, and we should all in turn support them. From a quick drink on the way home, to cocktails and dinner...you can't go wrong. Local heroes to be acknowledged and thanked!!
